"The Awakening"

This print is called "The Awakening" . It portrays a lady stretching in the early morning sun in the forest with mountains in the background. It is marked :

on the cardboard on the back of the print. We believe that it is a very early Maxfield Parrish print. It is in an old frame and backing. The print is in good condition. There is no staining or foxing, no rips or tears on the print. The spots on the woman's dress are paint chips under the glass. The frame is really rough. If you have ever seen this print before or know anything about it, please contact us. We would love to know more about it.

Print dimensions are  10 1/8" wide x 7 1/8" high. Frame dimensions are 12" wide x 9" high.

Due to the reputation of the artist, the rarity of the print, and the condition we estimate that this print would bring at auction $175.00  to $400.00.
