Hand Colored Engraving - French Fashion Print 

This is a Vintage French Fashion print, in its original frame. The backing is still intact, and part of the original label is still intact also. It is a hand colored engraving. Inscribed beneath the picture is: Engraved and Printed by Illman Brothers. Dated 1864. Titled "Les Modes Parisiennes Peterson's Magazine". 

The above print's image area measures 10 1/4" wide x 8" high. The frame dimensions are - 11" wide  x 8 3/4" high. 

This is an authentic old French Fashion print, in good condition. There is a slight crease down the middle, and a slight stain on the right side of the print. It is a very fine engraving and a great find for anyone who loves old French fashion and costume prints. 

Due to the fine detail of the engraving, the print's age, and subject matter we estimate that this print would bring at auction $50.00 to $150.00.
